Incredibly informative and surprisingly captivating. The beautiful Grand Canyon presents many risks but these can be overcome with knowledge and proper preparation. The authors have really done their homework before presenting this book.

A must read before hiking or rafting the Grand Canyon.

The humor, depth of knowledge and accurate story telling. Both authors bring incredible experience and education to their book, clearly laying out the outcomes of poor preparedness when entering the wilderness.
