This boxed set was fun and they had a lot to over come in book 1 but by book 2 it was smooth sailing. I like that the stories had some uniqueness to each one. Fun listen!

Variety, Mystery, Emotion, A Great Series!

I loved this series! Six separate, stand alone stories, plus an enthralling prequel that brings a beautiful finish to the set! Lily Pine and her husband Marty had dreams … dreams that Marty sadly did not live to see come to fruition. Lily’s mission becomes to see that dream through, for both of them! Unfortunately … bodies have a way of well … getting in the way, and where there’s bodies, there’s suspicion, suspects, truths, lies, and evidence to be sought and found! Who would have guessed that Lily has a bit of a knack! What’s more, Lily and Marty have a daughter… a smart … savvy … investigative reporter daughter, who delights in helping Lily find the answers! Together, aided by a standout cast of friends, coworkers, law enforcement, and the, oh so necessary ne’er do well’s, and nefarious, this fabulously written collection kept me engaged, entertained, and delightfully playing armchair detective for over eighteen hours! Woven through the mysteries are Lily’s and Judy’s stories of moving forward. The individual mysteries of each book are interesting, entertaining, and easy to follow. They are beautifully written with superb scene setting and beautiful, believable dialogue. The flow is smooth, and the feeling emotionally satisfying. The characters, both supporting, and those added as the “nefarious” for each individual story, are fully developed and beautifully defined. I loved coming to know them! A few I felt tremendous sympathy for, a few not, but I’m sure that was by design, and I’m not telling! As you listen, you’ll see, and I’ve no doubt you’ll agree! The characters and story came beautifully alive thanks to emotionally appropriate, dynamic narration that left no doubt what the characters were thinking, or feeling, keeping me “as one” with these wonderful stories. I really enjoyed each and every one fully and thoroughly! The entire series was fantastic! Five star fantastic. I loved it!

Entertaining cozy mysteries

I enjoyed all 6 stories and characters. Each one had their own twists. Recipes at the end. The narration of the voices was perfect! Highly, highly recommend! Can’t wait to see how the stories continues.

Great book very enjoyable. Very good listen. The narrator does an excellent job. Overall excellent book to listen to.

Pacific Northwest cozy boxed set

This was a really good cozy mystery set of six stories,Lily moves to a small town to open her new restaurant and finds a body. That starts her,and her daughter on their way to being involved in death is so many different ways. Judy ends up coming to help her mom and work at the newspaper.The stories are good. Jeff Moon was a great narrator.He was steady and his voices were good. I was given this book free for an honest review.
