the author truly understands the psychological behavior

I've thought it since the first book. Once again Mrs. Weir shows she understands the psychology behind trauma responses and the tricks the mind can and will play on someone. Whether it's because she did her research or any number of other ways that she could know and understand it she guides the characters through the proper behaviors and responses. To many times I've read/listened to a book where the author starts out strong seeming to understand. To only change direction forgetting their own characters passed or not understanding the depths that trauma reaches. I appreciate the equal parts of Posy growing into the woman she will become with these five men behind her and the moments she regresses because of her past. It's raw and real, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the story.

Immature characters

I realized there were alot of immature characters engaging in sex. It kind of bothered me. Posy and Sid mainly, but they are in all sexual situations. Lark chooses to force an issue to get past a trauma and that seemed wrong.

I liked the betrayal chapter although it was predictable. So much more could have come from that. Posy is becoming stronger mentally. There is just something pushed in this book that didn't speak to me.

This book is done very well.And I can't wait to read more by this author

So far, the series has been very beautiful.It looks into the abuse of people go through and how to survive
