I really liked the genuineness of the characters in this story. but that is what Orson Scott Card does he really brings the characters to life and makes you understand them and love them

Short story about a cowboy who meets a troupe of traveling actors and the interaction between them. It's a pretty good short story impacted by author's Mormon religion. The book satisfied a short novel need. It's set in a post apocalyptic time, but could be current time or any decade in the last century or two.
