After a young girl goes missing, former TV crime reporter Vicky Robeson joins the search with the help of her attractive new love interest. They take his RV to a tiny town in rural Missouri that's filled with odd characters and darker secrets. But Vicky has secrets of her own. really good book

I know MLBarrs from working at a TV station where I worked for the general manager and she was and she was the news Director. I was always impressed with how she did so well running away from home at 15 but it was so nice to see her last week for the introduction of her book in Dallas and keep going Maria that was a very good book.

Not normally a mystery reader

Really enjoyed this book, I don’t normally read mysteries but I might now! I can’t wait for the next one in the series.

A Great Mystery Read

The characters were both real and complex. I loved that. The story was interwoven with backward glances which added to the intrigue and the mystery. The characters are compelling and I am hoping Ms. Barrs is planning to treat us to a series!

It really happened, it seems!

Maria is a winner, and the narrator is good, Found it hard to stop (and I think I have known some of these characters, so they must be real). Much good to say, but my typing is lousy, so I will just close with BRAVO1
