Easy listening!

I love this series so much and really enjoy the dynamics of listening to a novel, a novella, or a set of short stories. This whole set of short stories was so fun and entertaining to listen to, I just happened to be listening to the Christmas story right around Christmas in real life and it was the perfect pairing. Old Red and Big Red are my favorite duo to listen to on long trips and this set of short stories did not disappoint!

Holmes on the Range delights in short form

If you're one of those who says, "I only read novels," you should reconsider. Steve Hockensmith is brilliant in short stories as well. These five stories will delight you with his trademark mix of Western humor, suspense, and heart. Highly recommended!

Big Red and Old Red Ride Again!

I’m a big fan of this series, but this is the first installment I’ve listened to on audiobook. It’s a delight. Chuck Galco is perfect as the voice of the narrator, Big Red Amlingmeyer, bring the tales of crime fighting in the old west to vivid life.

A fun collection of stories

I always enjoy hearing more Big Red and Old Red (or Little Red) stories. The writing is great, the humor is on point, and the narration is pitch perfect.
