Just awful

Book was disappointing. The narrator change made the series mediocrity glaringly obvious. The book had absolutely no believability. Them getting an award for losing a helicopter for no reason at all is absurd. They hadn’t gone back for a load of water or anything. They just sat in the air and argued and ignored the entire operation on the ground. Then they got closer for no reason. I’m glad I bought these on sale.

Poor narrator

Not a fan of changing the narrator in the middle of the series, it did not feel the same.

Passions Ignite

I might've mentioned this before, but Phoenix Ridge seems to be the Gates of Hell! However, there are female firefighters, pilots, doctors, etc., so it could be heaven too - depends on how you look at it 🤷🏽‍♀️

Zoey and Lux are at odds in their jobs, but suddenly find themselves in a life or death situation and have to depend on each other to survive. Yes, it's as intense as it sounds, but it's also just as exciting!

Seriously!

Not as good as others. They're arguing while dealing with a fire and flying over the heated area causes the electronics to get too hot and the helicopter goes down. Now two women have to try and survive, and one is injured. Heck why not have sex in the middle of trying to survive if it looks like we're going to die anyway?

Mature content gets 🌶️🌶️🔥

Unfortunately, Not the best of the bunch

Maybe a different narrator would have made a difference?! Not sure. I like that this was solely focused on the two ladies however, something was missing through out. Too much emphasis on them, not which diverse dialogue, perhaps.
