Aunt Lavender is gearing up for the quest of a lifetime, while I’m settling into life in my newly renovated home and dreaming of long summer days spent on the lake.

However, with the appearance of two old rivals in Winterspell and a harrowing premonition, our dreams fall into jeopardy.

Selene has to prove herself right (naturally…), and before I know it, I’m chasing her furry behind smack dab into the middle of a cutthroat world of scheming adventure-seekers, who will do anything for their next big thrill.

Let’s just hope she has an escape plan.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every series (and character) I’ve listened to of Danielle’s but in this particular series I can’t get past how absolutely obnoxious Cora’s familiar Seline is. I’ve stuck with it, and will until the end, because I really like all the other characters. But I’ve got to be honest, I’ve never disliked a character as much as I dislike Seline. She’s rude, selfish, dismissive, arrogant and just plain awful. I can’t find one redeeming quality. I have to say too that while I really like Cora, she lets Seline pretty much walk all over her. She needs to take a firmer hand but obviously at this point in the series, I don’t see that happening. Anyway just my two cents worth.

Obnoxious Seline strikes again

These stories are always cute and funny with a little intriguing who done it at its center Love the characters. On to the next one.

Always a good listen

Good but with less romance and suspense than the series so far. The screwed up spell towards the beginning was situationally scary I mean who wants to be stuck as an animal.
The take down of the villain was magical but she didn’t seem sorry to have been so awful. The thank you/ sorry scene was well deserved and over due. I would like to see it happen more often to show that Selene could grow and blossom in a safe environment. I’m sure that would be limited in scope given her selfish nature.

I can’t believe what Selene did
