Advanced Medical Certification (AMC) has just released its newest course: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). This manual is based on the 2020-2025 Pediatric Advanced Life Support guidelines published by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation. The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Handbook is a comprehensive resource intended for health care professionals currently enrolled in a Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification or Recertification Course.

It serves as the primary training material for PALS Certification and Recertification courses. Although it is primarily intended for use during certification courses, the handbook was also created to serve as daily reference material for health care professionals. Information covered in the handbook includes EKG and electrical therapy review, pediatric respiratory failure, and more. Specific PALS Algorithms and more are also included within the handbook. All material in this handbook is delivered to enhance learning as comprehensively and conveniently as possible.

Very good and passed my course with this and was wonderful resource . I pass my test with that.

Helpful as a supplement to reading the book. Don’t think this alone would do it for me, but might if you’ve taken PALS many times. I commute and don’t have much time to study, so I’m very thankful I found this. My reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was because of how the quizzes were read. It would’ve been helpful for them to tell you the answer right after reading the question and all multiple choice options, instead of reading the entire quiz and then telling the answers. It made it hard to remember what the question was and all the options.

Medical Terminology Pronunciation NEEDS HELP !!!

The Narrator is excellent, and easy to listen to and understand.
BUT..
Medical Terminology Pronunciation was horrible,
Distracting, ANNOYING even!

GCS... NOT GSC
Bradycardia.. long A not Brad... 🙄
Amiodarone --
and soo many more!

PLEASE learn the correct pronunciation if you are going to Read a Medical Book!!!!!!!

PALS- just read the book

This was awful. When he narrated tables or algorithms it was totally confusing, and the multiple choice test questions were totally useless. I’m sure this is a tough topic to portray in an audible form but even at this price this version is a fail. Thanks to audible I got my money back.
