Voice characterizations were distracting and almost comical. The storyline was interesting and compelling. Clive has don't it again. Juan is a rich character.

Good story poor performance

This was a nice story. I enjoyed it as I do the whole Juan Cabrio series. Always well performed..

if you like Juan Cabrio

This version is abridged. There are gaps in the story I’m familiar with. And where the publisher edited, you can hear the “whack” sound of poorly edited audio.

Not the complete story

Have enjoyed all of the Oregon books listened to so far - this one very “meh”. Narrator not as good as Brick or Charles - a bit cheesy in his attempt to give different characters “voices”. Story itself thin and not as intriguing as other books. Not worth purchasing...would suggest skipping.

So far, my least favorite
