Great pastoral and church planting resource

I am a pastor, missionary in the Dominican republic, and this book was very helpful as we walk through our own church planting process.

The Book I Wish I had Before Planting

This is such a beautiful book for those thinking about church planting. It appears unimpressive and then you begin to see that it is pointing to deep foundational realities that are easy to assume and therefore miss. I highly commend it not only to this who are planting but those who anyway want to participate in the process of healthy church planting.

Biblically Sound and Realistic

I found this book to depart from the typical “do what I did” model of planting and embrace Christ’s example for His church, even when it isn’t flashy. Excellent read for any Christian.

Solid Overall

This book covers church planting and is a decent help in learning more about what church plants should be. If you are planting a church the book may guide you through some early decisions you need to make.
