Audio narrators🎧: Samantha Brentmoor and Jacob Morgan. Two of my favorites!! They KILLED this performance. They really brought the characters to life and conveyed their emotions so well. I couldn’t stop listening!

• Summary:
Professional baseball player Isaiah Rhodes has always had an unrequited crush on their team athletic trainer, Kennedy. After three years of pining, and the end of her previous engagement, Isaiah finds himself drunk in Vegas with Kennedy, and a wedding ring on his finger. Through what feels like an accidental miracle, Isaiah’s dream girl drunkenly begged him to marry her. Now he just needs to figure out how to keep her.

• My thoughts:
I was convinced nothing could come close to my love for Caught Up, and yet here I am LOVING THIS BOOK! Isaiah is a golden retriever mmc, always putting on a happy face to make everyone smile, while deep down struggling with his own hidden anxiety and desire to appease others. Meanwhile, Kennedy has an icy exterior she uses as a defense mechanism, while truthfully she wants to be loved and accepted. I loved how Isaiah and Kennedy were both hiding their genuine emotions in front of others, but always felt safe enough to be honest with one another from the very beginning. And Isaiah - that perfect man. Such a SIMP for his woman, and I loved it. He is sweet, funny, charismatic, understanding, willing to do anything for his woman, and bossy when it counts. WELL DONE, LIZ.👏🏼 The Rhodes men have solidified their place in the book boyfriend HOF.🏆

This audio was so good. The narrators were amazing bringing the characters to life. Isaiah is the perfect man I absolutely loved him.

What didn’t stand out.

I fell head over heels for this book! I binged it so hard and then procrastinated the ending because I didn’t want the book to stop. Isaiah and Kennedy are a true dream come true. This author knew exactly what she was doing and the spice! 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Chefs kiss!

OBSESSED

Liz Tomforde is hands down my favorite author. The world building, the character development, it's all so beautiful!
