Despite my last name being Kingsley, I had to work hard for my crown. I’m a gifted hockey player, but earning a spot in the Hannaford U hockey team took more than talent.

When it comes to dating, that’s a different story. I’ve always had it easy. There’s never been a girl that I couldn’t win over.

Until I met Gia Mancini, a goddess among mortals. Not only did my charms not work on her, she friend-zoned me.

But our story isn’t over yet. She messed up, and the only way she can fix her mistake is by agreeing to fake date me.

Now the game is on, and I’m not opposed to playing it dirty.

I binged read this book many months ago and always hoped there would be an audio version to enjoy. Narrators Luke Eisner and Michelle Sparks did a fabulous job to bring the voices of Noah and Gia to life. I would highly recommend for the hocky-romance book lover community.

Finally - Perfect audio version of this book!

Story - I read this book several times prior to purchasing the audio version. Although I am not a huge fan of Michelle Hercules books, too dark, too mcuh angst, I really like this one. This story is just about a guy who knows what he wants and isn't a player. The angst in this book is low in comparison to a lot of her books. The MH Noah is a great guy and isn't afraid of love which if kind of refreshing in a hockey romance.

Narration in Duet -I could listen to Luke Eisner all day. I really hope he wants to read more books to me. ;) His voice fit the character and the Duet narration just made the story. Michelle Sparks is always great.

Overall - Well worth the 3 'read'.

Great Story and Duet Narration

This book is soooo good!! The story is a great! It’s a fake boyfriend to lovers and a hockey book! Plus there’s a good threat in the book too. Can’t go wrong! It’s in duet style as well! Michelle Sparks is a great narrator, I’ve heard her before. But Luke Eisner is a new narrator and did an amazing job! His voice for Noah is delicious! He did a great job changing up his voices for other characters. He can pull off a sweet boyfriend and a crazy ahole! lol!

Great story! Amazing narrators!

I loved this so much! Noah was the absolute sweetest and completely obsessed with getting his girl—in the best way. It was so refreshing to read a romance without unnecessary misunderstandings or over-the-top drama. The connection felt genuine, the communication was solid, and I just had such a great time reading it. Total feel-good read!

Loved it!!!

Loved this book! I stumbled on it because I love the female narrator and it was a duet narrated sports romance with no 3rd breakup!
