Best guide to prayer since Brother Lawrence's

Yes. I would recommend this book. It's short, it stays on point, and it provides excellent examples of using the Bible to empower your prayer life.

What did you like best about this story?

Stormie Omartian stays on point. She doesn't wander from the topic. The entire book is about using the Bible to empower your prayers. The narration was excellent, the book is short enough to listen to over and over, and the examples are simple, worshipful, and useful.

What about Tavia Gilbert’s performance did you like?

I have listened to Ms. Gilbert before, and she always does a beautiful job of reading with reverence and wonder in a relaxing tone.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I want to listen to it over and over until I absorb this form of prayer into my life. It has already changed the way I view God's Word for the better.

Any additional comments?

The is the best book on prayer since Brother Lawrence's Practice of the Presence of God. It is short enough for a busy person to listen to and powerful enough to stop a busy person's train of thought and turn it to God. I know that it did that for me.

So happy I was led to get this book!

I listened while at work, it's calming and reassuring. I hope to remember to refer to many of the verses and prayers in my time of need and encouragement.

Human relationship

I loved how the book went from affirmation, to scripture, and then to prayer. It has my mind constantly seeing how I can be with Christ Jesus. Thank you for being so merciful to the sinful souls of this world myself included…
