The first nine books were read by J Rodney Turner. I'm not saying this new guy is bad or anything, but the established voices by Rodney suddenly being completely different this far into the series took a while for me to get used to. That being said it is a good read and still adds to story quite well.

Change of Narrator took some getting used to.

Great expression of frontier, honesty, dignity, courage, all the things you find lacking in today’s society

Preacher for president!

Well, it was a good story, but it’s not red is good as Jay Rodney Turner does it and it’s a shame that they did not have Jay Rodney Turner do all the books because he’s just got a knack and a voice for it. It really to me takes a lot away from the actual book.
Turner’s voice has a more distinctness to it that makes you feel like you’re in the book and there in the story where the man that read it here doesn’t give you that quality.

But William Johnstone, his stories are great. This series is just phenomenal. .

Ever one of the Johnstone's books has you biting your nails and pausing from daily tasks in anticipation for to see what will happen next. always a solid delivery by Jack Garrett. Can't wait for the rest of them.
