I enjoyed this sweet, historical romance. The story wasn't very long, and once the audiobook started, I listened to the whole story in one sitting. I was entertained by the setting as it was set in England during the Regency period, and the author really made me realize just how constricted by society young women were during that time. I liked Lady Arabella and her relationship with her brother and sister-in-law as they presented her to society. I thought Harry Frost's narration was entertaining. I won this audiobook through a multi-authors' giveaway. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Frederick and Josephina have agreed to see Arabella introduced into society. This will be her first season. She and her mother don't get along. Arabella is quite rebellious. She loves to ride her horse astride, not sidesaddle! Etc. She's a challenge.
The listen is short with not too much story. Other than Arabella there is no character development. She had several suitors, but we didn't get to know any of them. Disappointing.
The narrator presents the story nicely. Even his female voices are good. 5 stars for him.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary Audible copy of this book from the author through Story Origin.

I found that Harry is still carrying the narration of this shirt in regency England fashion. I found Arabella to be self centered and only concerned with what she wanted. Only what se desires was what she went ahead and did. Then come the consequences and tears. She wised up and appeared to grow up. All this taking place in what the listener would presume to be a very short time. I did enjoy hearing about Frederick and Josephine. Welcome, Constance.

Though the book was short the author played with her words and pulled the heart and soul of the characters into your heart. Exceptional job.

Arabella is anticipating her first season, her presentation to society. She feels stifled living with her controlling mother in the dower house. She promises her best behavior, to be allowed to live with her recently wed sister and her husband. Of course, her best of intentions go awry. She gets into trouble with her antics. She starts off as a silly impulsive girl, and grows up a lot in a short period.
The story is well written and engaging. The characters are interesting and relatable. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
