Mom gets her second chance.

I really enjoyed this short listen. Victoria's children are all grown and settled. Her husband has passed on. It is pointed out by a dear friend that she could use an 'attitude adjustment'. Even her children don't want to spend time with her. She just isn't fun anymore. Ouch! Enter her past sweetheart.........
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook. The narrator gets 4 stars. I didn't like his Victoria voice. She sounded too old and crotchery.

I loved it. Just because you’re older, it does not mean your romantic days are done! Victoria is a mother with an empty nest. All her kids are grown and moved out. She finds herself becoming a cantankerous old lady, time to shake it up and finally focus on making herself happy. This was a short and sweet story, great to finish in one afternoon. The characters continue from previous stories but can easily be read as a stand-alone. The narration was well done. I received a free copy of this audiobook, and am voluntarily leaving my review.
