Lovely story with annoying female lead

I love Mary Balogh her stories. This is a new series for me to start. I loved it. The female lead was very annoying and even though I understood her I still hated the problems she created for herself by being dishonest with the man she loved.

I adore this story! The narrator was perfect and made listening even more wonderful. I laughed out loud and teared up. Truly a delight!

Excellent Story

This was a great story. I really enjoyed it. I was amused all the way through.

Love the historic theme about London

This could have been a great love story and a strong women-theme EVEN with a little less explicitness of the intimate scenes. It was sad for the women in the day. The strong love between the two main characters was endearing.

Great Book

This is the best romance novel I've ever heard. Not too much explicit sex, and reasonable story line. I LOVED it.
