I could hear him turn pages, mispronounce names and words, speed read. He read this so fast I had to turn the speed to .8x instead of 1.0 and it was still too fast.
The content of this book was what I wanted and expected. I really wish he had someone else narrate. I would’ve given a great review.

Speed Reader, Jake Brown

I could not wait to listen to this book.
I figured I could finish it off in one day. But the narrator is talking so fast, I had to turn the speed down. And it didn’t really help. He is very monotone, every word read in the same voice, same ‘not very excited to be here’ tone. I love the stories, but I am struggling to get through this book. Like one of the other reviews, I will probably buy the book to read myself.

I was so excited for this book…

The guy is pretty much speed reading and there are some glaring edit errors - it’s almost exhausting, but the book itself is fantastic. I probably end up just getting the actual book.

Great book, tough listen

Of all of my Audible purchases, I was so excited about this one. The voice actor, however, reads so fast that sometimes he doesn't even stop for the periods at the end of sentences. Who approved this?? This was not what I expected and I couldn't enjoy it at all. The reader sounded rushed. Why? Seriously folks, I want my money back.

Horrible to listen. Can't get past the 1st chapter

I'm not one who likes to complain and leave scathing reviews, but this audiobook is just subpar. The reading. The editing. Just bad. Couldn't get through it.
