“Live in the moment with me.”

That’s what he asked Dahlia to do, and she did, because after a near-death experience, her motto was to live life to the fullest. She gave him everything. Her body. Her heart. Then it all came to an abrupt end. She didn’t anticipate he wouldn’t trust her. She didn’t anticipate she couldn’t trust him.

He wants his son.

Three years later, Prince Kofi returns and he’s not the same man. He’s bitter and angry and knows he has a son. He’ll do whatever it takes to bring his heir back to Zamibia, even if it means marrying the woman he believes betrayed him.

Dahlia must now raise her son in a culture she doesn’t fully understand, but when a nightmare strikes the royal family, will it bring her and Kofi closer together, or tear them apart for good?

I love this author, truly loved her. She writes about interracial relationships ,which my husband is white and I am Black. Her words and actions are so true.. It is so nice to see how she crosses between cultures Of American ancestry and our diverse history of Africans to cteate this series. I have been looking romance aka escape stories regarding my ancestry of being African and the princess who loved an African prince without making us feel that we are less than. Her female heroines make me laugh and truly relate to their experiences as an American woman who is a black African ancestry ,especially West africancestry. Truly magic thank you Delaney!!!

One thing I truly appreciate about audiobooks is when the narrator keeps each voice and character different & consistent throughout the book. It adds great value and enjoyment to the flow of the story and this narrator does not disappoint!! Kudos to her!!!

I was looking for an enjoyable and lightweight book without too much drama and this fit my needs perfectly. Nothing too deep or involved, but a very pleasant listen. I will be checking out the rest of the books in this series.

I enjoyed this book and can't wait to listen to the rest of the series. The narration was great! This narrator was new to me but she did a great job!

Great Book!

I really enjoyed reading a romance where the characters weren’t two dimensional and overly melodramatic. I liked both leads and understood their POVs enough that I rooted for them early on. The book is well written and brought to life beautifully by the narrators deft performance. Aura really nails the male lead as well as the female and I completely forgot I was listening to a single narrator. Well worth the listen.
