Gage is a pack enforcer. He fears no man, beast, or rival Alpha. But he is absolutely terrified of Mr. Bigglesworth.

As a wolf shifter, Gage is supposed to be at the top of the food chain. Fate, however, has a sick sense of humor. His fated mate is Simon, a sunny, sweet-tempered human who runs a sanctuary for "emotionally complex" cats.

Gage wants to claim his mate. His inner wolf is howling for Simon. But to get to him, Gage has to cross a minefield of dander, claws, and a hairless Sphynx who guards Simon’s virtue like a dragon guarding gold.

Every date is a disaster. Gage tries to growl seductively; he ends up wheezing. He tries to lean in for a kiss; a tabby launches a tactical strike on his leather jacket. Simon just thinks the big, bad biker is shy and "overcome with emotion."

But Gage is done holding his breath. He’s stocking up on industrial-strength antihistamines and whisking Simon away to a cat-free zone. Because once the sneezing stops, the gloves are coming off. Gage is ready to show Simon that while he might hate cats, he knows exactly how to make a human purr.
