good story but leaves questions

definitely liked this story and it did end with an unexpected twist but left questions as well.

There are eight books And they keep you on your Toes. There’s twists and turns and surprise!

Disheartening

I love this team but disliked the story and the ending. I doubt there will be any additional books as it appears the author is tired of the story. Scott Brick was exceptional as usual!

Quarry

I love the Blake Brier series. It is always interesting and always keeps my attention. Can’t wait for the next one.

Pretty good but probably the least of the series.

I knew who committed the murders as soon as the ballistics came in.
I thought there was a lot of unnecessary drama both in the team and in the community.
Also, too much of splitting up and not watching each other--losing track of what was going on.
Khat losing all professional demeanor after so many years of deliberate neglect was not exactly realistic for a hardened operator.

Other than that, the action was satisfactory and the plot was plausible, if weak.
It's about time to end the series because the authors seem like they are bored with it.
