Overall, good read

I don’t understand why the term “big black man” was necessary to be used so many time after it was initially established. Overall, I enjoyed the book.

This near death experience by Isaiah changed his life. All he wanted to is help. But then he meets Raylen. She really upended his world. First antagonist but after hearing his story. Realize he's a good man and they fall for each other. What really touches my heart is how Ray stands up to Pinky's father. Then adopts him. Would like to see more from these 2.
