A man rides a path of vengeance in this all-new Ralph Compton Western in the Sundown Riders series.

Luke Hadley never imagined he would be left for dead with a chest full of bullets on the day of his wedding. All he wanted to do was tend to his farm with his new wife, Audrey, and begin their lives together.

But when the Rhodes Gang crashes his wedding party, they wreak havoc and abduct his bride, leaving the lifeless bodies of his guests. Luke has only a sparse trail of clues to follow, but with help from a phony Pinkerton badge and a mysterious woman with many skills - including breaking him out of jail - he finally rides down those who’ve wronged him....

got 20 min into listening and couldn't listen to the reader cheesily change his voice for different characters.

good book insufferable reader

I wondered several times if the author was writing a parody. His main character is totally inept yet ACCIDENTALLY kills expert gunmen and criminals. He gets shot dead center in the chest from close range repeatedly, yet every shot is deflected by either old shrapnel or one thing or another he has in his pocket.
Ludicrous!
I’m through with this author. This was my first of his and my last.

Not a single believable chapter

Only in a comedy could the main character be so dumb, clumsy, and weak. This was no comedy.

Waste of time
