Each story had its virtues and demerits, but they were all of exceptional quality. I'm a huge stickler for pacing, and I had zero issues with that throughout this collection. I also really liked that a lot of the authors, particularly the one for, I believe it was Chapter 18, tied Dungeons & Dragons mechanics into the narration In this very seamless manner. You see it every once in a while in contemporary books, and even in more modern releases, but there was just this sort of life to it. Honestly, the things like that in these stories were among my favorites. I highly recommend this compilation.

This book has more Blackstaff tales than I expected; but that's a strength in this book. Another great look into Waterdeep in these stories too.
