Suzanne wright killed it again

Suzanne is one of my favorite author and she has never failed me. No complains aside from the narrator sometimes having me wonder who was who! Nonetheless a great story to listen to while cooking, driving etc

Love exciting and new

I have to say that I loved returning to this series with this latest book, Reaper. It's especially nice to have this story focus on one of the previous male secondary characters, exploring a committed relationship, from previous books instead of a female character. Unfortunately, the story is still primarily told from the female main character's point of view.

This story is great in that it continues to follow the pattern of others stories in the series in introducing main characters with emotional wounds from childhood that can hinder long-term romantic relationship development. Our main characters both have emotional issues left over from childhood that makes them not want to trust each other fully or the relationship that they were building together.

I wish Tanner demon would have appeared this book and that the story it Seems shorter in this book

This is another series that I seem to be reading "over time". I'm not sure what exactly is going on this week, but I seem to be coming back to all these books that are parts of series that I started a while ago.

This is the 8th book in this series and I have read all of the books leading up to this - it's just been a while since I read the last book. It didn't take long though to get back into the world and to remember all of the characters from the world. This was an interesting addition to the series and I found myself remembering certain traits of the other characters as I was reading. For example - Khloe....boy I had forgotten how crazy she was :)

In terms of storyline - this book has Levi and Piper as the main couple. It was interesting and there was drama but while I found myself interested, I wasn't INTERESTED. (if that makes any sense) I enjoyed reading/listening to the story, but I didn't find myself blown away.

Will I continue with this series? Yes - I've invested enough time and do like the world and the characters that have been built so I will be looking forward to the next book (it looks like it will be Larkin's story)

Feels like a different writing style.

This book seems to be a different writing style, but I can't put my finger on it don't get it twisted, I still love the series but this one was different. Yes, I am keeping the book and love the series this was just different plus I love all the characters and the fact that all the previous characters appear in the ongoing series.

Not sure what's different, but I hope Suzanne Wright returns to her previous writing style.
