LOCK & CALLIE

Nyssa Kathryn saved the (almost) best for last! My favorite book in the series is still Eastern and Sadie's story, but Lock and Callie's story is right next to it. The emotions, suspense, and genuine, long-lasting love are abundant. Lock made a huge mistake but is man enough to admit it. Callie knows true loss that tried to rip her apart but has a heart big enough to forgive. Together, they are unstoppable.

As a bonus, Kathryn gives us a glimpse of her next series. This may be the last of the Reckless series, but more awesome stories are coming from the incomparable Nyssa Kathryn! I hope Avery Caris and Jason Clarke are available - I love their duet narration. They're two of the best in the business.

5/5 story, just wow

My first book of this author and definitely won’t be my last 🤌🏻 damn the angst & suspense 😭 the plot twist at the end. Jaw dropped. ANDDD duet narration with the JASON CLARK. I ate that up. I wish it had more spice tho it was 1.5 🌶️

Reckless Love is book 5 in the Reckless series and I think my favorite so far. This story really gives you everything...love, tragedy, angst, suspense/intrigue, and a plot twist to make your head spin! Wow oh Wow was this good. Lock and Callie had a sudden ending to their first love story, and Lock is determined to win her back. When he finds out Callie has a stalker, he goes into protector mode to save her. I love the town of Misty Peaks, which I thought was in WV, but learned in this book it is in TN, which is even better! These Walker brothers have all returned from the military to their hometown. This can be read as a standalone, but do NOT miss this series!! I'm hoping the author threw in some eggs for a new series with Lock's friend, Jesse, and Callie's friend, Aspen, in Amber Ridge (please, please please!!!).

The narration was fabulous...again! Jason Clarke and Avery Caris have really made this book (and the series) thrilling, heartbreaking, steamy, and delivered the HEA we can't get enough of. 5/5 stars!

WONDERFUL CONCLUSION TO THE SERIES

Whether its the book version or the audiobook, once again, this talented storyteller delivers another touching, at times, heartbreaking story in this latest addition to the series,
Two years ago, Callie Ward was sure she had met the man of her dreams and one she could see a future with. But it all goes tumbles down and ends in heartbreak when Special Forces Lock Walker tells her he doesn’t love her and disappears. The reality was that he loved her so much, he didn’t want her affiliation with him end up getting her killed.
After leaving the military, Lock is back in Misty Peak to reclaim his love . She too had left after all her terrible losses, not expecting or wanting to see Lock again. But fate has another agenda.
As he tries to win her back and secrets are reveals, a friendship reignites but so does the danger against Callie.
Who wants her dead and why?
Action packed as well as emotionally packed story, the readers will kept guessing until the end.
Sad to see the series end, but am sure we’ll “see” on occasion these characters in the next series.
In the audiobook version, th narrators Avery Caris and Jason Clarke bring the story to live.

Great story

I devoured Lock and Callie’s story which was an emotional second chance romance that will give you all the feels thanks to the fantastic narration by Jason Clarke and Avery Caris. What a great way to end this series and looking forward to the Amber Ridge series.
