A solid hit right from the beginning

Great narration. I've been a Gail fan for many years, but I've been a Sonja fan my whole life. I read the Sonja graphic novels Gail wrote. That was my introduction to her writing. I've since read every series she has done. I was so excited when I randomly found this book. And I wasn't disapointed.

Sword and sorcery at its core.

Overall good story felt like the legends of red devil. Slightly neutered for a Gentler age.

Felt like i missed some plot hooking. But who need plot hook when things are coated in Gore!

Fun Story great Narration

I’m a Gail Simone fan and she delivers a fun story with humor and drama. Felicia Day does a great job narrating the story (I wasn’t sure how great her Sonja voice would be but she does a wonderful job)

Well worth the time

This book kept me engaged and eager to hear more of the story any time I got a chance

A confession

I greatly enjoy Gail Simone's superhero comics work. I always drop her name when someone asks me "who are your favorite writers?" But I have never read any of her Red Sonja comics, and that is clearly a failing on my part. This novel is incredible, showing a depth of love for a character that has been largely maligned or reduced to sexy lamp status. Mix Simone's stellar storytelling with Felicia Day's brilliant narration, and you have a combination that is not to be missed. You owe it to yourself to listen to this tale. You will not be sorry you did.
