Story very predictable. voice actor did not suite the characters. Was OK, wouldn't listen to again.

Story is OK, very predictable

A nice, quick adventure with characters who fit nicely into their tropes. It feels very much like a quest for a D&D game.

The narrator gives a wonderful performance. Each of the numerous characters get their own voice. Ranging from a quick, squeaky halfling woman to a massive and deep voiced hobgoblin.

Great narration to a fun story

The story was good. The author brought to life the goblins instead of them being faceless monsters. I did not like the narrator's tone of speaking which sounded like he was reading to grade school children.

Ok overall

I liked the Goblin PoV, made everything more interesting. Would have 5 starred it excrpt the unnatural shortness of the book made it so nothing seemed to have as much time and development as it needed. But lots of little things kept it interesting. Characters were a bit canned but could be worse.

I liked the Goblin PoV

it may not be comparable to LotR or anything like it, but it is a great book for fantasy fans. Being one, I liked it very much and I recommend it.

best option for rpg fans
