Great lessons shared by a vulnerable leader

I read this book and to be honest, I was blown away. The author's story, lessons, and vulnerability are a refreshing change from the business and personal development books I have read. The way he writes made me feel he was sharing his story directly with me. Nicely done!!! This is a title that will go on my re-listen list.

Lloyd Brown is a Man of True Character!

Refined by Failure opened my eyes to some very important leadership qualities that we should all strive for (even if you are not in a leadership position.) Ego is the leadership disease and Lloyd does a phenomenal job of telling how he was humbled and how we have to make mistakes to learn lessons. Lloyds story will change lives and I am very grateful that he shared his personal experiences so openly. I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to improve their life.

A great story with some good rules to think about

A great author, who has learned some very important lessons that many people miss and never learn. They are great lessons to think about, and put into practice in any business. This book is going on my shelf next to my favorite authors, such as great pilots, and astronauts, and adventurers that I have learned from.

Brown shares his most intimate failures and hard lessons learned in business, marriage, relationships, and with God. It is a story of forgiveness, restoration, and wisdom gained. Brown shares the wisdom and lessons learned. This is a helpful book, and I recommend it to all adult audiences.
