Book 2 - Beautiful Monsters

This is book 2 in Sky's series Beautiful Monsters. A beautifully dark listen that is sure to captivate if you're prepared to go into the mob / cartel world Sky has created and see the struggle for power and dominance as well as the demons that haunt these characters. Smooth flowing storyline that's told from a multi point of view. I was left wanting more and more.
As for the narration / audio - there was something off in the audio version in chpt (i think) and while I normally love a dual narrated audio - the female narrator on this came thru very robotic and difficult to listen to whereas the male narrator was the complete opposite and was very impressive with his accent, pitch and tone changes used for the multiple characters. He did a great job.
I feel that while this could be read / listened to as a stand alone, it is better when read in series order as several of these characters are introduced in book one.

Audible/arc Review

For honest Review. this Audible was about espi vialle who is a artist and troubled angel who is the younger brother to danta in the first story . I fell in love with his character in this first and still I love his softer side but in this story he seems so damage. when he meets and helps Cloe parker she comes back to confront her past and to find her sister . dark romance fantastic.

Great Follow Up

Great follow up to Book one of Beautiful Monsters. I enjoyed the narrators and hope we get more.

SOOOO GOOD

This book was like all of Lana's others.... so fricking good. I couldn't stop once I started. The story the I and narration... just wow. I can't get enough of Lana and her books!!!

Gritty, Raw & Quite Compelling

This book was a very intriguing surprise. I was totally anticipating much more Dante and Daniella but instead the author delivered a twist that presents a whole new perspective. Espi and Chloe make another very intriguing couple. I felt their story and this book had a different feel from book one. I thought there was a slightly softer edge here and a lot more emotion. I found this read quite compelling. I enjoyed the narration on this book. I have a preference for dual narration and I thought these performers delivered an excellent listening experience.
