Enjoyable story

I didn't like Rejar as much as I did Lorgan, and this is because he forces himself on Lilac a few times. it's an ugly thing, told in the way of some regency romances. I suppose that's because it's set there. I n any case, the adventure itself is decent of not a little old fashioned.

I want a Rejar.

I read Mine to Take years ago and fell in love with Gian Ren but never got around to finding more books in his world. When I saw this book in KU with a listening option, I had to have it. Great decision because Rejar is as naughty, mischievous and sexy as his cousin. The backdrop of Ree Gen Cee Ing Land is perfect for him, his cunning nature beguiling the fops of the ton as they fall over for his princely facade. Lilac is a spoiled brat initially, entitled as any debutante. But he quickly takes her in hand, wielding his mastery of pleasure on her person in a most sensual way. Traed and Aunt Agatha enjoy sitting back and watching the fireworks as the two lovers engage in their push-pull relationship until they finally admitted their love. I loved this book and if I can find a print version, it's going in the bookcase for more hours of reading enjoyment. A great listen as the narrator crafted a voice for each character that brought them to vivid life.

Delightfull book. Did not want to stop it, to go to bed. Looking forward to book 3.

I would suggest this book more so than the first book in this series. Although there were times when I wish the plot would pick up.

Over the last few years, I have sold or donated most of the "paper" books I owned in favor of eBooks or Audio Books, but this is one of a couple dozen I kept - until it was available in eBook and Audio. It is the perfect mix of fantasy, good characters, and extreme sexy.
