Another beautiful romance with suspense!

This book was very good I totally enjoyed it and would recommend it and the other books in the series to anyone who enjoys historical fiction with romance, suspense and mystery.. In this book we meet Rebecca, she has come to Hollow to be a mail order bride to Elias Wheeler a rancher. Both Elias and Rebecca have troubled pasts, that they prefer to keep from each other. So their marriage starts out without honesty, add in an 8 year old little girl used to taking care of her father and it spells disaster. Or does it! You will listen to this story and at times your heart will break, other times it will pound with fear . A very engaging story. The reason for 4 stars is because there are places where the narrator repeats a sentence or words. I don't know if this is how the author wrote it or a mistake of the narrator or maybe even a problem with the production but don't let that put you off or you will miss a great book.

Mail order bride escaping her past

Rebecca and Elias' story is captivating and I couldn't wait to listen to more. Elias has despaired of finding a new wife. A widower with a young daughter, he wants a wife and mother. Rebecca is anxious to escape her past and becomes his bride. Even though love and affection bloom, with either of them ever fully trust the other? Can they learn to share their deepest fears and desires? Or will the past haunt them forever?

Christian Historical Romance

A powerful lesson is taught in this wonderful story! The ending was perfect (except for the retakes in the last few sentences). God is always just a breath away, and forgiveness is always possible!
I really love this narrator!

The Wheeler family, their past and hope for the future. With a young daughter he looks for a mail order bride. A story of forgiving the past, and looking for the future, and buikding a family. A good clean story with good narration by Heather. Given audio for my voluntary review
