Relatable & inspiring

Time thoroughly well spent. Nothing pretentious or complicated in the story or characters. Like it’s being read to you by a friend. Inspiring in a way that feels warm & invites you to come as you are. Entertaining & at the same time uplifting in its simplicity & gentle nudge to be better. Well done Elysia!

I hope this story isn’t a based on any real animal rescue people

I hope this story wasn’t written after careful research into any real animal rescue organizations, because if anyone is out there doing the reckless things Sunny did, they won’t last very long. The story flowed well and the narration was well done, but the character of Sunny was so immature and put herself and others in danger of death or arrest.

This book has a little something for everyone

I loved that the author included such complexity into building this story, Like the dogs they rescue, each of the characters is unique, maybe a little flawed, but worthy of love.

Sweet and all about the pups!

An easy enjoyable listen about what we will do for what is most important to us. In this case, it is family and rescuing dogs. Toss in a little romance and you've got a lovely listen.
