Maya's self and relationship doubts

I enjoy reading about these working dogs, the areas where they work, and how they assist with crime solving.
I enjoy the mystery unraveling.
I did not give higher stars because it seems like every too often Maya expresses relationship or self doubt. this frequency does not add to the story.

Each mystery in this series is a new case, with enough suspense to keep you hooked, and not wanting to put these books down. The romance unfolding between Maya and Josh is cute, but they have issues like any couple.

Get ready for a weekend full of books. I cannot wait for the next book in the series, I need to know what happens next!
