Intense

The author kept you guessing through the whole book. I enjoyed hearing about the bond the handlers had with dogs as well.

Surprisingly Excellent!

I initially chose this to-me- unknown author because I'm fascinated by K-9 stories (such as Max). I wasn't expecting the slight paranormal twist but it was actually thought provoking, so much so that I'm downloading book 2 in the series now.
The narrator was exceptional also.

Had me from the beginning. Excellent character development and enough excitement to listen from beginning to end in one sitting! I really liked it.🍒🍒

Good read

The fake southern accent of the reader bothered me at first but the story was so compelling that I was able to overlook it. And the story was good but I guess I’m getting too old to enjoy graphic descriptions of torture.
