I've been enjoying books by Rosa Lucas. She is a new author to me and so far she hasn't disappointed. Resisting Mr. Kane was a sweet treat and great recommendation by my best friend. Even the audio was perfection while I couldn't sit to read it. I ended up listening to the book instead because the narrators did an AMAZING job with the main character.

Tristan Kane and Elly meet in Greece. Both are on vacation but Elly is working to make some money to continue backpacking through Europe before going back to school to finish up. They instantly click and have a wonderful few days together. He is older than her, but the chemistry between them was undeniable and the sparks were flying. The magical summer ends and months have passed. Elly has gotten a job at the firm she has been eyeing. When she comes to meet the CEO of the company during Orientation it so happens to be Tristan. The moment Tristan lands his eyes on her, its over and he needs more of her in his life.

Although the storyline may have followed a familiar pattern, its execution was exceptionally well done. I am a big fan of books that explore age differences, and the author truly delivered! This installment marks the second book in the London Mister series, and I can’t wait to read more.

If you enjoy a spicy age gap, this is a must-listen.

I would like to take a few seconds to talk about the narration. Both narrators, whom I was unfamiliar with prior to this experience, truly delivered exceptional performances. Their ability to bring these characters to life was nothing short of astounding.

Tristian & Elly

I really enjoyed this book and it started off really strong, sort of lulled in the middle & then seemed to finish up in a rush: I really wanted Elly to find out she was pregnant while she was in hospital, sort of as a way to stick it to Gemina. I absolutely adored Meghan & when she offered to sleep with Tristin to get the penthouse, I cracked up. The narrators did fine, though, I think I preferred the first book and narrators better - the Danny & Charlie book. Still a good read overall. I’m moving on to the next in the series.

I couldn't resist him either!

Wow! just wow! this audiobook is not HOT! Rosa turns on the spice all the way to scorching hot with this one, I truly do not recommend listening to this in public, trust me I was blushing at the supermarket like a schoolgirl.

Oh, Tristan Kane! This man’s name should be Mr. Steel your girl, he is so swoony, dreamy, absolutely perfect, and has a sinful mouth that will leave you breathless.
He is obsessed, possessive, and he knows what he wants. I have to say, he will be on my top 5 book boyfriends forever.

Elly is as dreamy as Tristan, she is a strong, independent woman who is chasing her dreams, traveling the world, and having the time of her life. She is relatable, funny, and could be my bestie in a heartbeat.

Tristan & Elly’s chemistry is undeniable, scorching, and just meant to be, Elly tried to resist Mr. Kane, but he demolished all her walls and made his way to her heart.

I loved this audiobook, I forgot about all my responsibilities, thank god for DoorDash to feed the kids, mom was too busy falling in love with Mr. Kane to cook.

The plot, the characters, the side characters, the spice, and the narrators were spectacular! The narrators did an amazing job bringing these characters to life, a show apart!

Don't even question, just add this to your TBR and enjoy Mr. Kane.

Billionaire age gap!

I absolutely loved this one! It is my third Rosa book and she just knows how to write a good age gap! It was sexy, sweet and fun! The accents were so well done too!! And the narrators did a flawless job! The story was amazing as well! 10/10 recommend!
