When Michael needed a hero, no one answered his call. His life lay in ruins. His dreams were shattered. With no options left and nowhere else to turn, he found himself forced into the shadowy embrace of a criminal enterprise. No complaints here. It kind of reminds of The Boys a little bit. I'm looking forward to the next one.

excellent narration of a new twist on superheroes

strikes a nice balance between a power fantasy, and having a character actually struggle to achieve goals. plot is excellent and I can't wait to see where it goes

everything is half baked

I love litrpg and progression novels but this is an extremely low effort book. The perspective jumps around a bunch and the author makes jumps in logic that take you
