What she plans as her last job is enticing for two reasons…the high dollar figure attached and the fact that the mark is her brother’s killer. Tori curses fate when her hatred for Santiago is outweighed by her attraction.

Determined to find the proof necessary to condemn Santiago, she isn’t prepared when it backfires and her morals and beliefs are called into question.

I listened to the audio version of this book.

Again Alex Black took me on a journey.

There were times in this book (and earlier books) I wanted to slap Santiago, but learning more about him and his history eased that want.

If you've read the previous books you already know of Santiago and Tori but the book explores it a whole lot more - spying, deception, lies, stalking, longing it had it all. I loved learning more about the Valkyrie world within this universe.

A great read, well worth continuing if you have begun the series. If you haven't you should be able to pick it up as a stand-alone.

Plenty of HOT HOT Spice to keep me warm and cosy and dreaming of Dark Warriors.

Loving This Series

I'm so enjoying this series! There's such a good story and the character are fun, love the narration. It has vampires, shifters, and a dragon or two. The steam is the right amount you still get a great story. I so hope the author finishes out the series on audibles I'll be waiting.
