A delicious, sexy, laugh-out-loud modern romance about a newly single woman and her journey to find love again, from New York Times bestselling author Alice Clayton and debut author Nina Bocci.

Avery Bardot steps off the plane in Rome, looking for a fresh start. She’s left behind a soon-to-be ex-husband in Boston and plans to spend the summer with her best friend Daisy, licking her wounds—and perhaps a gelato or two. But when her American-expat friend throws her a welcome party on her first night, Avery’s thrown for a loop when she sees a man she never thought she’d see again: Italian architect Marcello Bianchi.

Marcello was the man—the one who got away. And now her past is colliding with her present, a present where she should be mourning the loss of her marriage and—hey, that fettuccine is delicious! And so is Marcello…

Slipping easily into the good life of summertime in Rome, Avery spends her days exploring a city that makes art historians swoon, and her nights swooning over her unexpected what was old is new again romance. It’s heady, it’s fevered, it’s wanton, and it’s crazy. But could this really be her new life? Or is it just a temporary reprieve before returning to the land of twin-set cardigans and crustless sandwiches?

A celebration of great friendship, passionate romance, and wonderful food, Roman Crazy is a lighthearted story of second chances and living life to the fullest.

Loved this little romp to Rome. Quite enjoyable. Great narration that sounds just like Kate Rudd.

Fun trip to Italy.

Wish there was a sequel 😟 . The story is scintillating, the narrator, a perfect match for the story's voice. Why did it take me so long to discover these writers? Or perhaps what took them so long to team up?! They are my new Christina Lauren---- and that is saying something!

Loved it!

I love Alice Clayton's writing, although I prefer jer solo work. Still the writing wass solid, and were I not already familiar with her Cocktail, Redhead, and Hudson Valley series of books, I might have enjoyed this more. As it was, a solid story, some humor, good detail. While I enjoyed the performer's skill at voices, and her ability to convey dislog was wonderful, it was a shame that her narrative reading seemed so stiff. Still, I will recommend this book to other, but it after all of Ms. Clayton's other work.

Glad I listened

I feel like the plot would start to peak, and then fall flat. There was a small drama at the end of the book, but the excitement lacked a crescendo.
I read a review that this book was so funny, but I didn't laugh out loud once- not even a chuckle- not sure what that reviewer thought was funny.
The narrator was really good and the book was well written, just not my cup of tea obviously. If you like sweet and simple without a lot of drama then you would probably enjoy this book. I feel like other reviewers did not appropriately represent this book and therefore my expectations were skewed.

Never really peaked.

This book was great. Can't wait to hear more from these two authors, I already love Alice Clayton's work, so I'm excited to see in the future from Nina Bocci.
