First, he was my owner. Then, he became the father of my two babies.

What he will never be: my happily ever after.

Kirill Vyronov takes what he wants. And, he took everything from me. So now, I'm running.

But with the FBI and a gang of ruthless killers on my tail, it's not long before I'm captured.

And when I'm found and cornered, about to lose my life and my babies, guess who swoops in and takes out my tormentors? Of course, it's Kirill.

Except this time, things are different between us. He's not here to protect me; he's here to punish me.

And when he learns the secret I've been keeping from him—the babies in my belly—he makes a chilling promise.

"Wherever you run… Wherever you hide…

I will hunt you to the ends of the earth."

It’s like this was (at least partially) written by someone other than whoever wrote book one. It’s just more mature and deeper in the storylines. This one is generally better. So I’m glad I went on to this book. The cliffy from book one was resolved here and in a big way! There was so much action in this book, that you’re literally on the edge of your seat! There is definitely some predictability here, but it’s part of the fun with this book. Otherwise this book is worth the credit. Much more so than book one, but you definitely have to read book 1 first!

Better than book 1
