Great Second Chance Romance

I loved this story!! A great second chance romance with a sports theme. This was the first book I have read/listened to by Christina Kirby and I am going to have to get my hands on the first in this series. The narrator Maryann Carlson did a fantastic job. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Great story

The story was such a sweet love story but the narrative was terrible. No pause at periods or the end of paragraphs, no emotion in the reading. It certainly took away from my enjoyment.

I love small-town romance stories and sports-themed romance. Running Home is the story of Jenny and Adam. Adam was offered the chance to play professional baseball and left Jenny behind. Ten years later, he's retired and back looking to buy a home. Adam returns and begins pursuing Jenny immediately, but the relationship takes a while to get going since Jenny is with someone else. This was an okay story for me. I received a copy of this audiobook for an honest review.

This was a good light hearted romance that was just right.

The story was quite good. There was several moments at the beginning of the story that I considered stop listening, due to the narrator. She sounded too stiff to do this book. But I am glad I stuck with it. This was a good light hearted romance that was just right.
