Being attacked by the Broyx and crashing on a primitive planet was not in Claudyem's plans, even though she is used to mishaps in her work as a mercenary. And, to top off the day, when she emerges from her wrecked ship, she encounters a fearsome and sexy half-snake alien who, instead of finishing her off, kidnaps her and takes her to a cave. With what intention? And...why does he stare at her so intently?


Aeyser can't believe it. A snake from the sky has fallen on his land. When he comes face to face with it...he didn't expect a strange female to emerge from within. And the moment she attacks him, marking him and initiating the mating ritual, he doesn't hesitate.
He accepted her challenge!
He found his partner.
However, he will not have things easy as he does not understand her language and his female, no doubt, is a warrior with a fierce and warm heart.
Will he get her to love him and forget about the stars?

The story is okay, the writing wasn't great, the AI reading is bad enough to be funny.

Decent

Using virtual voices will always hurt the ratings of a audio book. Poor editing on the grammar and spelling makes that even worse. Good story line and would have liked to see a sequel but unfortunately there isn't one. Also the emotions of the characters are extremely drawn out, and definitely missed some opportunities to put spicy scenes of them discovering each other's differences. The story had potential to be great if more effort had been put into it.

This was so drawn out. Could have been a great book. This was so hard to get threw. I will not recommend anyone to read it.
