a good read/listen for a short story.

Not too bad at all! Really quick read. Great intro to the series! I can't wait for the next book and the continuation of Faith and Josef's story!

Reel Me In

This is how you write an introduction to a series and hook in the reader like a fish! A lot of action and world building are packed into a few pages and the two sympathetic characters that are the main focus are compelling. I want more, and that's the point isn't it?

A GREAT Short Prequel!!

This was a Great story and the world and character building in this short Prequel. Narrator does a very good job with this story the characters and tge entire storyline.

A New & Fascinating Vampiric Story

I was entertained by this novelette which featured vampires and humans. My attention was caught from the opening paragraphs until the end, and I listened to this audiobook in one sitting. Although this was my first experience with this author's work, it won't be my last. I liked Josef Freeth. I'm looking forward to more of his story as this piece was short and left a lot to the imagination. I thought Shah James' narration was great, and his performance added to the story's entertainment. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this story.
