All the yearning!

Avery and Sean did an absolutely beautiful job bringing this story to life and were the perfect voices for the job.
Every sentence demonstrated their talent, with a heartfelt and impressive performance.
Gideon and Lena's story was completely riveting—rife with tension, suspense, and longing—and a little sad.

The connection between our two MCs was obvious from the get-go—magnetic, electric, and oh-so-forbidden.
Gideon was everything I had expected and then some. He was thoughtful, attentive, protective, and had a bigger heart than I had anticipated.
Lena was not at all what I had envisioned her to be. I enjoyed watching her confidence grow; the way she learned to stand up for herself was all because of Gideon, and learning about her upbringing really tugged at my heartstrings.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Kristen Proby story without some danger and drama.
And let me tell you, the betrayal that was revealed was unexpected and a bit of a surprise.
The fallout? Harsh and swift. My heart felt like it was in a chokehold for a while.

It was everything you love in a Proby book—connection, attraction, suspense and heart.
It is an audiobook that I will happily listen to again.

this story was just spectacular it hit me just right. I will say I'm very easy to please when it comes to stories as long as they're entertaining I feel they deserve a decent rating but this is a story that is beyond that in other words I couldn't put it down I just fell in love with these two characters from the get go. there's this something about maybe a little forbidden because he was initially The Bodyguard. and then there's this falling in love with your crush. there's there is so many different little things about this story that just pulled at my heart and how I really loved it. that just made me Dive Right In and just fall in love right away I could like I said I just couldn't stop listening it was constant the narrators didn't excellent job. I cannot recommend this enough High trust love the book I hope we get to visit this Ranch again I hope she's going to do Aiden's story I kind of thinking though I don't know if it'll be on the ranch but we'll guess we'll see.

Really good series and I really enjoyed this book. I story I’ve never heard before. Really good and fantastic narration

I LOVED This One!! 😍

Okay, compared to the 1st one in this “mini-series” (it was only 2 books, so I’m calling it a “mini-series”—at least, compared to this author’s other 6-book series I’ve read/listened to), THIS one was SO much better!! It just felt “more complete” & less rushed, to me at least. Like she wasn’t rushing to “make deadline”, like the 1st book did. (I learned that it’s always seems to be either “hit or miss” when it comes to this author for me.) This one just felt like more of a complete, full story than the other 1st one. The 1st one kinda felt like it was missing a couple bits & pieces to CONVINCE me that the couple was really “in love” & not just PHYSICALLY attracted to one another, if that makes sense. It also felt kinda rushed. But not this one. This felt (despite it being about 2 pages shorter) felt much more thought out—at left for me. This one also had slightly more chapters than the 1st one (despite it being “less” in page length); maybe that had something to do with it feeling “more complete & thought out”. I don’t know. 🤷🏽‍♀️ The only “thing” that kinda disappointed me a bit is that I think this book had less “spicy, bedroom scenes” (if you know what I mean 😉🌶️🥵) than this author’s other books. Don’t know if that was on purpose or it just “worked out that way” to get the story told, but I kinda love this author’s “spicy scenes A LOT; she writes really “bedroom scenes & it’s one of the reason why I always go back to her books, even when I don’t always like the main plot or the characters that much . . . I’m here for the spicy romance of it all!! Lol 😂 But, oh, well, like I said, I DID enjoy this one MUCH more than the previous one! Would still recommend if you like Romance! 👍🏻😊

Couldn’t put it down

I really enjoyed this book. I seriously couldn’t put it down. I love that there is a time jump from the end of the last book to this book. The connection between Lena and Gideon was great. It was sweet to see how it grew and progressed. There is an age gap but it’s not clear how big the gap is. There was a twist that surprised me. The story as a whole flowed so well and Avery Caris & Sean Masters did a wonderful job with the dual narration on the audiobook. I will listen to this book again.
