I loved that dessen takes her time to build up all the characters before jumping into the story. you really feel like they could be your friends. loved and would listen again

Everyone should hear this book

I absolutely love this story. I read it back in high school and returning to it on Audible was such an experience. The story is beautiful and the characters are so real I find it hard to believe they don’t exist in real life.
I could read/listen to this book a million times and never tire of it.

Still Great 10 Years Later! 👍🏻

I should mention that this isn’t my first time reading/listening to this book! I read/listened to it a LONG time ago as I teen girl in high school/college & loved it so I picked it for this month (Jan.) book club, mainly because my book club ladies NEED to “broaden their horizons” & read more YA books! 😉 (Also, I work in a high school so I’m surrounded by YA books all the time, & think they’re great books to read! 👏🏻 As I said, I’ve been a fan of Sarah Dessen since middle school/high school & I have read basically all of her books! (I actually don’t remember why I haven’t already done a review of this book; probably ‘cause I was not 18 yet when I first read it lol 😅!) But, anyway, still as good as it was when I first read it as a teenager! No notes; 10/10! Would recommend! 😀 And I saw recently that Sarah Dessen is coming out with a new book in May of 2026, so I might also read/listen to that (even though I’m not a teenager anymore haha 😊)! The audiobook is also pretty good, too! 👍🏻 (I like to listen WHILE I also read books! 😉) Let’s hope the audio of her NEXT book in May comes out at the same time as the Kindle version does! 🤞🏻

It was a good book, I really like Sarah Dessen. It was similar to her other books and predictable but I enjoyed the story line and the characters.

It was my first audio book. Totally new experience but I really enjoyed. I couldn't stop listening. plus I ride a lot of public transportation. This gave me something to do!
