New time traveler Fritz is asked to use his powerful but poorly understood portal to undertake an important mission – but will the unknown cause him to hesitate, or will he take the chance to save the world?

After discovering a portal through space and time, Fritz helped the United States resolve a foreign crisis. Now, as he struggles to understand the mysterious portal’s secrets, the president wants him to use it to avert a nuclear threat in the Middle East.

The second book in the Quantum Touch series, Sand Storm follows Fritz as he races against time to learn the conundrum of the portal to prevent the potentially deadly consequences of war. As he scrambles to determine if the portal has long-reaching consequences, Fritz will have to choose – be cautious and leave the world in great danger, or use the portal to help the president and prevent a war?

I really enjoy the historical references. The story keeps you reading wanting more. Can't wait for book three!

entertaining, suspense, and educational .

This series is clearly YA. But I have several YA series that are excellent. Half my brain shouts "return this thing", yet the other half wants to hear what is next. This is book 2 so obviously I continued on from book 1. If a young kid is listening, this is a 4 star book. The narrator is not very good. He is horrible at doing voices. He would be fine for books that don't use characters. The story is good enough to get me to want to hear what comes next. Very short books however, all 3 should have been 1 book or sold as a pack.

Hard to rate for non YA listeners
