FROM THE SUNDAY TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF LOST IN TIME

At CERN, a scientist has just made an incredible discovery—a breakthrough that may answer the deepest questions about human existence.

But what he's found is far more dangerous than he ever imagined.

Dr. Tyson Klein is a quantum physicist who has dedicated his entire life to his research. At CERN, he analyses data generated by the Large Hadron Collider, the world's biggest and most powerful particle accelerator. Now, Ty believes he's found a pattern in its output. It looks like an organised data stream, being broadcast over what he calls a quantum radio.

Could it be a signal from another universe? A message sent from the future? Or something else entirely?

As Ty peels back the layers of his discovery, he learns that what he's found isn't what he thought it was. The encoded message is far more profound. It may alter our understanding of human existence and the universe.

But Ty is not the only one looking for it. Someone has been following his research for a long time. And they'll do anything to prevent him from unravelling what is being broadcast by the quantum radio...

Because the first one to discover the truth may well control the future.

Some science, some time, travel, and some history. Adults will be frustrated with lack of character development, very limited science knowledge and overly long trek through an alternative political history. Ray Porters narration can be great but often becomes. overly dramatic. He has Ty angry, yelling,, confrontational, and childlike with his father, and all inappropriately so.

I’ve decided that I don’t care about multiverses. The narrator is very good. The story wasn’t interesting.

I like the way AG Riddle consistently portrays people as good and portrays women as smart partners and not just extra characters. The four main characters were extremely likable and I enjoyed some of the philosophy put forth by these well-developed characters. Definitely worth a credit. Regarding narration by Roy Porter, I typically enjoy his narration but have noticed that he does the same voice for all women and it doesn't sound right to me. I've heard some excellent changes over the past few years in how male narrators voice women's characters (more realistic and not just a falsetto). I don't know what coaching is needed but Ray, I hope you feel open to working on this.

Overall, just a generic conspiracy theory thriller with a bit of quantum BS thrown in to justify an alt-history multiverse. But story and characters are quite generic. It's fine to listen to in background while working, but not deserving of undivided attention.
