Tizzie Hall
The bestselling parents' guide towards happy, sleeping babies from birth to two years, from the international baby whisperer Tizzie Hall.
Tizzie Hall has gained an international reputation as a baby whisperer and miracle worker. Even from an early age, Tizzie knew how to read babies' body language and cries, and from that auspicious beginning she has developed a series of sleep routines that have provided parents and babies with a good night's sleep the world over.
Save Our Sleep is the book that parents asked Tizzie to write, and with over 270,000 copies sold it has become the only book parents need to cure their own sleep deprivation! This audiobook includes routines, integrated feedback on routines, dummy use, express feeding, dealing with premature babies and twins, information on teaching your baby to self-settle and case studies and tips.
Please note that the advice in this audiobook was accurate at the time of recording. This audiobook comes with supplementary material, you can download this material at the following link: https://www.panmacmillan.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/9781760989811_CustomWEB.pdf

This book, however, implies that if your baby doesn’t follow its methods, the fault lies with you. I also discovered that in the book’s Facebook support group, they push the idea that books advice will only work if you purchase their specific bedding (no other brand is fine!) and, after 4 months, adhere to the rigid meal plan from her other book.
Save yourself the frustration and skip this book. Instead, look into more evidence-based resources about 0-5 month sleep. Focus on wake windows, encourage self-settling and crib sleep, but don’t blame yourself when things don’t go perfectly – it’s completely normal!
