From New York Times best-selling author Laura Scott

Search and rescue and love....

Hunted by a serial killer....

After Alexis Sullivan and Denali, her cadaver K9, find the body of a dead woman in the mountains, she soon realizes she’s become the killer’s next target. And when she finds a second body, just two hundred yards away, she’s horrified to realize they’re dealing with a serial killer.

FBI Agent Griffin Flannery has already been investigating missing teenagers from across the state and rushes to join Alexis in the Bighorn mountains. Two of the three missing women are there, but he knows full well there could be others. Time is running out. He needs to find the third missing woman, fast. And when the killer turns his sights on Alexis, Griff knows he’ll risk his own life to save her.

Somewhat entertaining. I love stories involving dogs. This series of stories is rather simple and predictable. Easy listen without a great deal of attention.

Simple story

Good story feel like author did a great job showing Alexa as strong and thoughtful woman. Love story part is so ridiculous 🙄 and unrealistic. People fallen for each other in 2 or 3 day and 3 week later their engaged, how very soap opera of the author. Also, the sexual assault part could have been left out as it added nothing to story and was just unnecessary the author had already made the reader dislike and the killer and show you he was creepy.

Wow it was crazy but, good

The story was fine. I enjoy this whole series. Although, the female voices all sound whiny. But, I will keep listening!

Pretty good!

I think it’s the narrator’s attempt at women voices, but they all sound super whiny which makes them unlikeable. They are constantly taking unreasonable risks that are as predictable as the story. How they “fall in love” with only a short traumatic exposure to their future spouse makes me wonder. Trauma can draw a couple together, but is not the glue that cements it. This is a Hallmark type story with a sweet dog to make it marketable. The narrator really is not suited to this type of story.

Predictable story, Women whiny 😫
